And no sooner as IFR training had begun, Christmas appeared. rather than spend 2 weeks in the Tron sitting around 5 of us went for a road trip to the South Island in search of some Christmas snow. It all started with the trip down to Wellington - night before xmas eve with a great night out in Wellington followed by the early ferry to Picton and an 11 hour push to Queenstown to get at least a round in before pubs shut at midnight xmas eve - we made it!
