16. An update - groundschool and theory exams now complete with an average of just over 90% for module 2 which gives a 91% average overall - which will do nicely. And CTC have decided to trim back courses to 6 per course. Pretty much out of a hat, I have been put back a month which is fine - i will work for 6 weeks and get some much needed funds. I now start Bournemouth on the Tuesday after easter... Posted by Picasa


15. Borth Beach - next steps: 2 weeks off, 2 weeks of groundschool followed by a week or so of revision, then ATPL module 2 theory exams (the last of the ATPL licence theory exams), and then another 2 weeks of time off before heading to Bournemouth where the real fun starts - UK orientation followed by our Instrument Rating Exam (often quoted as being the toughest practical exam there is). Then our Commercial Pilot exam and then onto the intermediate phase of training (multi crew training and so on).... Posted by Picasa

11. And finally - on the way home on Sinagpore Airlines leaving having completed the NZ phases. Everything about being out in NZ was fantastic but quite happy to be leaving to catch up on everything back at home and to drink a proper pint (not a handle), and have good bacon, and a sunday roast.. etc. Posted by Picasa

Anyway - back to the serious stuff - flying - about 20 flights left to go now in the New Zealand phases - all instrument stuff so all under hood and a mixture of day and night stuff mainly flying instrument procedures with engine failures thrown in left right and well - only left and right.. in all weather - man - and some of the weather we flew in was rough!
